SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa, 79.9″ Natural/White CPT1074A review

The SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa can be a reasonable buy if you want a wide, Brazilian teak outdoor sofa and you’re prepared to assemble and care for teak; the Amazon spec lists it at 79.9″ wide. SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa… One retailer listing shows a related loveseat price of $1,183.17. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…

• Amazon’s product specification lists the sofa at 79.9″ wide × 29.9″ deep × 23.6″ high. SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa…
• The Amazon product data lists the frame as Brazilian teak and the cushions as white olefin. SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa…
• An English Elm listing gives a related loveseat price of $1,183.17. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…
• Multiple listings identify related St Lucia pieces as loveseats or chairs, so model naming varies by source. St Lucia Teakwood Patio Chair | Safavieh Couture

What is the SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa, and what pieces are included?

The SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa is presented on Amazon as an outdoor couch built from Brazilian teak wood with white olefin cushions. SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa…

The manufacturer and other retailer pages describe closely related variants: one source calls the Saint Lucia a reeded teakwood patio loveseat. St Lucia Teakwood Loveseeat | Safavieh Couture

Other SAFAVIEH material describes the St Lucia as an outdoor patio loveseat with a teak wood frame and white cushions. St Lucia Teakwood Loveseeat | Safavieh Couture

Several retailer pages identify smaller or different variants: one SAFAVIEH page and catalog entries identify a St Lucia teakwood patio chair rather than a sofa. St Lucia Teakwood Patio Chair | Safavieh Couture

The St Lucia is also named as a teakwood patio chair on another spec page. St Lucia Teakwood Patio Chair | Safavieh Couture

Independent listings repeat the loveseat description and two-seat intent for related items. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…

English Elm lists the piece as a two-seater with white cushions. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…

Overstock describes a teak loveseat with foam cushioning and a painted finish in its listing. SAFAVIEH Couture Saint Lucia Scandinavian Teak…

Note that the SAFAVIEH site also provides a page for a St Lucia Teakwood Swivel Chair rather than the St Lucia Wood Sofa, so the same model name appears across different product types in the available claims. St Lucia Teakwood Swivel Chair | Safavieh…

What are the sofa’s dimensions, weight capacity, and seating capacity?

The SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa is listed on Amazon at 79.9″ wide, 29.9″ deep and 23.6″ high. SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa…

A related retailer listing for the loveseat variant gives dimensions of 55.9″ wide by 29.9″ deep by 23.6″ high, showing that different listings describe different sizes. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…

One listing explicitly states the seat is intended for two people, which describes seating capacity rather than per-seat load. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…

Overstock’s loveseat listing rounds the dimensions to 56″ × 30″ × 24″ in its spec sheet. SAFAVIEH Couture Saint Lucia Scandinavian Teak…

Overstock provides a listing weight of pounds for its loveseat entry but does not state a weight capacity in the provided text. SAFAVIEH Couture Saint Lucia Scandinavian Teak…

The manufacturer-defined concept of a sofa weight limit per seat and a total rating is how load specifications are commonly presented, but no per-seat or total capacity figure is supplied for the St Lucia sofa in the claims. How Much Weight Can a Couch Hold?

Because seating capacity and weight capacity are distinct—one defines positions and the other defines load—you should look for explicit “Weight Capacity” or “Maximum Load” wording when checking claims; that wording is not present for the sofa in the provided listings. How Much Weight Can a Couch Hold?

What type of wood, cushion fabric, and cushion filling are used in the sofa?

The Amazon specification lists the sofa’s frame as Brazilian teak and the cushions in white olefin. SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa…

Manufacturer and product descriptions consistently describe the piece as combining wood with fabric and foam. St Lucia Teakwood Loveseeat | Safavieh Couture

SAFAVIEH text for related items identifies the frame as teak wood and mentions white cushions, but does not provide a material breakdown for cushion fabric in every variant. St Lucia Teakwood Loveseeat | Safavieh Couture

The chair variant descriptions say the seat is enveloped in fabric and supported by plush foam, but they do not name a specific cushion-fill material for the sofa. St Lucia Teakwood Patio Chair | Safavieh Couture

One SAFAVIEH passage identifies the patio chair’s wood specifically as reeded teak, which aligns with other teak descriptions. St Lucia Teakwood Patio Chair | Safavieh Couture

English Elm explicitly names the frame as Brazilian teak in its listing. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…

Overstock specifies teak for the frame and foam for the cushion fill but does not identify the cushion fabric in that claim. SAFAVIEH Couture Saint Lucia Scandinavian Teak…

Where a fabric or fill composition is not stated in the claims, the exact fibre or foam grade is unavailable from the provided material.

How much does the sofa cost, and how does its price compare with similar outdoor wood sofas?

The SAFAVIEH data includes a product-variant price value recorded as 139900, but that claim does not state a currency alongside the number. St Lucia Teakwood Loveseeat | Safavieh Couture

The same embedded product-variant data records an identical numeric value in another claim entry. St Lucia Teakwood Loveseeat | Safavieh Couture

An English Elm listing gives a regular price of $1,183.17 for a related St Lucia loveseat entry. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…

The Amazon specification for the sofa lists a width of 79.9″—substantially wider than many two-seater loveseats—and that size difference matters when you compare like-for-like designs. SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa…

A Castlery guide cited in the claims gives a typical width range of 59–71 inches for a two-seater sofa, which places the 79.9″ St Lucia Sofa outside that typical two-seater range and suggests it occupies a larger footprint than many two-seat sofas. Sofa Sizes and Dimensions (A Complete Guide)

Because the SAFAVIEH numeric price value lacks a currency in the provided claims, and because other retailer prices come from separate listings, the claims do not provide a single, directly comparable MSRP in one place for the exact 79.9″ sofa model. St Lucia Teakwood Loveseeat | Safavieh Couture Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…

Does the sofa require assembly, and what tools or steps are needed to put it together?

The SAFAVIEH product data for the 79.9″ St Lucia Wood Sofa states that assembly is required and that hardware is included in the box. SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa…

Another retailer entry describes the assembly as minimal. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…

Overstock’s listing likewise says assembly is required and that illustrated instructions are included with the product. SAFAVIEH Couture Saint Lucia Scandinavian Teak…

Because the claims describe the assembly level as minimal and note included hardware and instructions, you should expect to follow the provided assembly steps rather than undertake extensive carpentry; the claims do not list specific tools required. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat… SAFAVIEH Couture Saint Lucia Scandinavian Teak…

How should the wood and cushions be cleaned, protected from weather, and stored between seasons?

The product guidance in the retailer listings advises storing the furniture indoors or covering it when not in use and removing it from standing water. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…

The listing also says to clean the frame with a damp cloth and to spot-clean the cushion covers as needed. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat…

Overstock instructs owners to wipe frames with mild soap and water and let them air-dry. SAFAVIEH Couture Saint Lucia Scandinavian Teak…

Retailer guidance recommends covering or storing cushions during wet weather and over winter. SAFAVIEH Couture Saint Lucia Scandinavian Teak…

The available claims recommend oiling the wood once per season to help maintain its color. SAFAVIEH Couture Saint Lucia Scandinavian Teak…

For foam-filled cushions, the claims note foam provides firm support and that turning foam cushions can slow compaction. The Ultimate Guide to Sofa Stuffing

The claims also note that fibre-filled cushions need frequent plumping to maintain appearance and that a cushion you can turn and swap end to end will wear more slowly. The Ultimate Guide to Sofa Stuffing Best Sofa Cushion Material, Chicago

Follow the manufacturer and retailer care instructions in the listings: gentle cleaning, seasonal oiling for teak, and covering or indoor storage for cushions are the steps the claims recommend. Saint Lucia Reeded Teak Wood Patio Loveseat… SAFAVIEH Couture Saint Lucia Scandinavian Teak…

What warranty applies to the sofa, and are replacement cushions or parts available?

The claims do not include a manufacturer warranty statement for the St Lucia Wood Sofa, so explicit warranty terms are unavailable from the provided material.

The available guidance notes that a zipped cushion cover allows the fill to be replaced without remaking the entire cushion. Best Sofa Cushion Material, Chicago

The claims also describe cushion refilling as a routine workroom job on a sound sofa frame, indicating refill or repair is feasible. Best Sofa Cushion Material, Chicago

The Amazon product data identifies the piece and materials but does not provide warranty detail in the cited claim. SAFAVIEH Couture Outdoor St Lucia Wood Sofa…

Because the claims lack a quoted warranty period or warranty exclusions, you should request explicit warranty terms from the seller or manufacturer before purchase if a written warranty is important to you.
